GCA is free from the constraints of traditional firms such as: (a) minimum billing requirements, (b) a hierarchical management structure, (c) a lack of control over compensation, (d) billing rates constraints, and (e) associates who must be trained and kept busy. Each attorney is allowed to build the practice he or she wants, not the empire that others demand. Our economic model does not require that our partners have a book of business in excess of what they need to feed themselves. Our attorneys have the freedom to manage their own practices, but we also place a high value on teamwork and collegiality.

While the way we operate is flexible, our quality standards are not. We expect our partners to provide excellent service. The level of sophistication of our practice is comparable to that of the large firms at which most of us practiced for many years.

The GCA model also is ideal for clients — from start-ups to multi-nationals. We provide clients with direct access to the experienced attorneys they hired. Our billing rates reflect our focus on keeping expenses reasonable. And experienced attorneys at reasonable rates makes for excellent value — a core mission of our firm. We compete effectively for any matter within our practice areas.

Although we are interested in high-quality candidates with at least seven years of general business-firm experience, we are especially interested in tax and corporate candidates.
