Greg Morris is a Partner and a member of the firm’s Commercial Law Practice Group. He specializes in representing financial institutions and other lenders in negotiating and documenting credit facilities provided to companies primarily within the technology and life sciences sectors.

Greg’s practice focuses on the negotiation and documentation, due diligence review and closing of secured and unsecured loan transactions. He has developed particular knowledge of secured transactions, including the intellectual property, warrant and other issues that arise within those transactions. Among Greg’s clients are many of the top banks and non-bank lenders in the venture lending space. Greg also has experience advising companies regarding the incurrence of debt and the granting of security interests and has represented both public and private corporations in a variety of debt financing transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Greg worked as a commercial lending attorney for VLP Law Group and DLA Piper and had previously worked as an Analyst for Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Advisors) and as a software engineer (Java/C++).

Greg received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance) from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
