Jason Cimmiyotti is a member of the firm’s Commercial Law practice group. His practice focuses on representing banks and other financial institutions in providing credit facilities to a wide range of borrowers, primarily in the technology and venture debt space.

Jason drafts, negotiates and advises clients with respect to secured and unsecured credit facilities, subordination and intercreditor issues, warrants and related agreements in connection with mergers, acquisitions, investments, working capital and other debt related matters. Jason has advised both lender and borrower side clients in connection with bilateral loans, syndicated facilities, cross-border investments, asset-based credit facilities, acquisition financing and other various debt and equity matters. Prior to joining GCA Law Partners LLP, Jason was a member of the banking and finance teams at Jones Day (New York), Morrison Foerster (San Francisco) and VLP Law Group (Bay Area).

Jason is licensed to practice law in California and New York. He received his J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, his B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to his legal career, Jason worked as a mechanical engineer in the biomedical research and device fields. Jason enjoys hiking, golf, travel and coaching youth sports.
