Bill Connell joined GCA Law Partners LLP as a litigation partner in September 1997. Previously, Mr. Connell was a partner for several years in the litigation department of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, practicing in both the San Jose and San Francisco offices of that firm. His broad-based commercial litigation practice includes client counseling, various forms of alternative dispute resolution, and trial practice in state and federal courts covering a wide range of business and intellectual property issues, with an emphasis on employment and unfair competition claims. In addition, Mr. Connell has substantial experience handling land use and CEQA litigation, as well as toxic tort, environmental, and complex products liability matters.

Mr. Connell is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, from which he received a B.A. with honors in Political Science. He obtained his J.D. degree cum laude from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
