Guest Column
Sotomayor and Roger Traynor: The Job Interviews
All the focus on the speeches and writings of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor before her confirmation got me thinking. What would we see if we scrutinized the speeches and writings of the California Supreme Court’s former Chief Justice, Roger Traynor, a great 20th century appellate judge who served on the California Supreme Court for nearly 30 years? asks Elizabeth Roth of GCA Law Partners LLP.

Speaking Engagements

Ken Van Vleck (litigation, real estate) is a longstanding faculty member for the National Business Institute, speaking on real property title and boundary issues. His most recent engagement was Boundary Disputes: Resolving Client Conflicts, which he taught in San Francisco on December 4, 2008 (NBI website).

Elizabeth Roth and Barbara Tanzillo have made several training presentations to clients on Sexual Harassment, in compliance with California's now mandated interactive training and education for supervisory employees regarding sexual harassment (CA Government Code section 12950.1).
