Tracy Tierney joined GCA Law Partners LLP in June 2005 and specializes in benefits, compensation and ERISA matters. Ms. Tierney’s practice includes representing clients from sole proprietors to Fortune 500 companies in the full array of employee benefits, including the design and implementation of defined contribution, defined benefit and non-qualified deferred compensation plans, fiduciary compliance issues, and advising clients on benefits and compensation issues in mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and joint ventures. Ms. Tierney has experience representing companies before the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor, including companies undergoing plan audits and applications to IRS and DOL correction programs. Prior to joining GCA, Ms. Tierney was an associate in the Employee Benefits group at Sideman & Bancroft LLP.

Ms. Tierney holds a J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Miami, a B.A. and a M.A. from the University of Michigan.

Ms. Tierney is a member of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference and currently serves as a member of its Significant Issues Committee.
