Peter Schwab joined GCA Law Partners LLP in June 1999 as a partner, and specializes in real estate and construction law.  Previously, he practiced with the real estate group at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California. His practice involves advising emerging growth and high technology companies on matters such as industrial, commercial, research and development and office facility lease transactions, real estate purchase and sales, campus facility development and general construction matters. 

Before joining the private sector, Mr. Schwab spent nearly seven years as Associate General Counsel of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Jose, handling real estate and construction matters on large municipal projects, including the San Jose Arena, the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, the Children's Discovery Museum and the Tech Museum of Innovation. 

Mr. Schwab received his B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois. He received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco.
