Trish Cunningham joined GCA Law Partners LLP in September, 2014 as a trust and estate paralegal bringing over twenty years of law office experience specializing in trust administration, probate, and estate planning having worked at Loeb & Associates in Los Altos, Sowards Law Firm in Campbell, Kramer Radin LLP in Los Altos, and Barulich Dugoni Law Group in San Mateo. She received her AA at Skyline College in San Bruno and, while on the Dean’s List, her Paralegal Certificate from DeAnza College in Cupertino. Her academic honors include membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Tina Ernst joined GCA Law Partners LLP as a paralegal in the litigation practice in July 1999. She has over twenty years of experience in the legal field, having begun her career in 1989, holding positions at Fish & Richardson in Menlo Park and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto. She received her Bachelor of Arts in accounting from San Jose State University.

Jennifer Johnson joined GCA Law Partners LLP as a part-time paralegal in the litigation practice in October 2011 from K&L Gates in Palo Alto. She has over fourteen years of experience in the legal field, having worked at law firms including Mintz Levin in Palo Alto, Dechert LLP in Mountain View, Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly LLP in Palo Alto, and Graham & James in Palo Alto. She obtained her AA, AS and Paralegal Certificate from West Valley College, Saratoga, CA.

GCA is looking for a few good attorneys.
We (humbly) believe that GCA provides its attorneys with the opportunity to practice in a near perfect environment.
Our unique structure offers attorneys the freedom to practice law — not politics. GCA does not have the constraints of traditional firms. We have no hierarchy or associates who must be trained and kept busy. Our attorneys control their own compensation and billing rates, with no minimum billing requirements. Our attorneys build the practice they want, not the empire that others demand. GCA’s economic model does not require partners to have books of business larger than they need to sustain themselves. While our attorneys have the freedom to manage their own practices, we also place a high value on teamwork and collegiality.
GCA’s model is flexible, but our quality standards are not. The level of sophistication of our practice is comparable to large Silicon Valley firms. We seek high-quality candidates with at least seven years of experience. We are especially interested in tax and corporate candidates.
The GCA model also is ideal for clients — from start-ups to multi-nationals. We provide clients with direct access to the experienced attorneys they retained. Our billing rates reflect our focus on keeping expenses reasonable. And experienced attorneys at reasonable rates makes for excellent value — a core mission of our firm. We compete effectively for any matter within our practice areas.
